How to remove or hide product badges in Shopify
Turn off specific badges, remove them from individual products, or uninstall badges entirely.
Three scenarios
You want to: turn off a specific badge, hide a badge on one product, or remove badges entirely.
Turn off a specific badge
In Product Badges dashboard, toggle the badge to inactive. It stops rendering on all products.
Hide a badge on one product
Two options. Remove the targeting tag from that product, or add an exclusion rule: “Show on collection X except product Y”.
Remove all badges
Uninstall the Product Badges app. Because the app uses theme app extensions, there is no leftover code in your theme.
Before you uninstall
Export your badge config from the dashboard if you might reinstall later.
