Investors
A portfolio of simple Shopify apps.
We build small, focused Shopify apps, ship fast, and stack them into a cashflow-positive portfolio. Low overhead, lean backends, exit optionality.
Thesis
The Shopify App Store has 8,000+ apps but the long tail of mid-volume categories is poorly served. Most top apps are overpriced, overbuilt, and slow to ship. We target niches where 2 to 5 apps split the market and the leaders have obvious 1-2 star complaints. We enter with a free tier that covers what they gate behind 9 to 29 dollars a month.
Why this works
Every Win-Win app has a real backend, but we push as much of the app into Shopify's own infrastructure as we can. Theme app extensions render on the storefront inside the theme itself. Shopify metafields hold merchant config. Our server handles OAuth, admin UI, bulk operations, and the bits Shopify cannot handle natively.
That split lets us run each app on a small Fly.io deployment with a modest Postgres database. No scale-out email infrastructure, no queue fleet, no CDN bills. The difference between an app costing $10 a month to operate and one costing $1,000 a month compounds across a portfolio of fifty apps.
Velocity
Our target is 10 new apps per month, each going from research to shipped in 3 days. We currently have 2 live, 2 in the pipeline, and a 100-app blueprint mapped across conversion, merchandising, loyalty, fulfillment, and operations categories.
Exit path
Shopify apps trade on the secondary market at 3 to 5x ARR for healthy portfolios. Single apps with 1k+ installs and a clean review profile sell as drop-in acquisitions to larger app studios or private buyers. Our portfolio design means any subset can be sold independently, and the roll-up buyer community is active.
Current portfolio
Product Badges and Bulk Store Credit are live on the Shopify App Store. Next shipments are in delivery date estimation and country-of-origin badges. Full app list and status is on our apps page.
