Conversion guide
How to show international delivery dates on Shopify
International buyers convert better when they see a realistic delivery window. Here is how to display it per country.
The principle
Do not show a single international ETA. Different countries have very different transit times. Segment by country.
Step 1. Identify your top international markets
From Shopify analytics, find the countries that represent more than 2 percent of international revenue.
Step 2. Research transit times
Check your carrier’s published transit times for each. Add 1-2 days of buffer for customs.
Step 3. Build the zones
In Arrively, create separate zones per country or region. Assign accurate transit windows.
Step 4. Display
The app auto-detects the visitor’s country and shows the appropriate ETA. No action needed after setup.
Step 5. Customs messaging
For destinations with customs, add a note: “Delivery time includes customs clearance which may vary”.
