How to add a dispatch cut-off message to Shopify
Tell shoppers exactly what time they need to order by for same-day dispatch.
Why this works
Explicit cut-off removes ambiguity. “Order by 2pm for same-day dispatch” is a clearer value than “fast shipping”.
Step 1. Decide the cut-off
Match it to your actual warehouse cut-off. Lying here creates angry customers.
Step 2. Set in Arrively
Configure the cut-off time in the dashboard. The app automatically updates the message based on current time.
Step 3. Customize the copy
Default: “Order in 2h 13m for same-day dispatch”. Customize to match your brand voice.
Step 4. Test across devices
On mobile, the cut-off message can get cut off if your theme has tight product page layout. Test and adjust.
Step 5. Monitor for accuracy
Watch the first week. If orders close to cut-off are not shipping same-day, move the cut-off earlier.
