How to add one-tap reorders and a Buy It Again page to Shopify

Let repeat customers rebuy past orders in one tap with every option preserved, and reward the reorder with store credit.

Why reorders leak

Shopify’s built-in reorder replaces the customer’s cart and drops custom options. A returning customer who has to rebuild their order by hand often just does not. For consumables, supplements, pet food, coffee, that friction is repeat revenue quietly leaking every month.

Step 1. Install Reorders

Reorders adds one-tap reorder that preserves every size, colour, and custom option, adds to the existing cart instead of replacing it, and skips sold-out items so the checkout actually completes. Free plan covers the core experience.

Step 2. Turn on the Buy It Again page

A dedicated page listing everything the customer has ever ordered, one tap from each item to cart. Installs as a theme app extension, no code, works on any Online Store 2.0 theme.

Step 3. Add the ordered-before badge

Familiar products convert better. The badge marks items a customer has bought before while they browse your catalog.

Step 4. Reward the reorder (Pro)

On the Pro plan ($9.99/mo) you can attach an incentive to reordering: native Shopify store credit or an automatic discount. Credit is the compounding option, it comes back as another order. See how store credit works at checkout.

Measure it

Reorder analytics show how many repeat purchases came through the flow. Watch reorder rate by cohort, consumables stores should see the number move within the first month.
