The CSV format

Three required columns: email, amount, note (optional). Example: “customer@email.com,25.00,Thanks for your patience with the shipping delay”. One row per customer.

Step 1. Prepare your CSV

Export the target customer segment from Shopify admin as CSV. Add an amount column. Add a note column if you want a custom message per customer.

Step 2. Upload

In the Bulk Store Credit dashboard, go to Bulk Import, upload the CSV.

Step 3. Preview

The app shows a preview: N customers, total $X issued, any errors like invalid email or missing Shopify customer record.

Step 4. Confirm

Click Import. The app issues credit to each customer and sends notification emails. Failed rows are logged for retry.

Step 5. Download receipt

After import, download a receipt CSV showing every success and failure. Keep this for accounting.

Step 6. Notify customers

Optional: send a separate campaign email via Klaviyo or Shopify Email letting customers know they got credit and how to use it.
