Comparison
Bulk Store Credit by Win-Win Apps vs Koin
Koin is a free cashback automation app. We are the CSV bulk-issuance specialist. Both use Shopify native store credit. Here is the honest tradeoff.

Short answer
Bulk Store Credit wins when you need to issue credit to thousands of customers at once from a CSV, or auto-reward buyers post-purchase with simple setup. Koin wins if your main goal is automated cashback rules and Shopify Flow recipes, and its current $0 price is hard to argue with. Both write real Shopify-native store credit.

When Koin makes sense
You want always-on cashback automation: percentage back on every order, rules by product or order value, Shopify Flow recipes doing the work in the background. Koin is built around that loop and right now it costs nothing.
When we make sense
You have a list of customers and an amount, and you want credit in their wallets in the next five minutes. CSV upload, preview, done. Add the post-purchase campaign if you want auto-rewards after each order. We also keep the data footprint small, we do not request customer name, email, phone or address scopes.
The bigger picture
Both apps sit on Shopify’s native store credit system, which is the right architecture, the balance belongs to the customer record and survives app changes. The choice is really about which workflow you live in: automation rules (Koin) or deliberate bulk drops (us).
Frequently asked questions
Koin is free. Why would I pay for Bulk Store Credit?
If Koin covers your use case, use it, free is free. The catch is that free-for-now pricing usually changes once an app hits critical mass, and migrating credit programs later is work. Merchants pick us when CSV bulk issuance is the job to be done: store credit drops before a sale event, migrating balances from another platform, or compensating a large group at once. That workflow is our whole product.
Can I migrate from Koin to Bulk Store Credit or the other way?
Yes. Both apps write to Shopify's native store credit ledger, so balances live on the customer record, not inside the app. Switching tools does not delete balances.
